SECTOR: Experienced Area/Service Engineer
Our client are a leading provider of design, install and maintain security and loss prevention solutions, to major organisations across the UK and Europe.
PACKAGE: 27K – 32K depending on experience, plus over time and call outs, Company vehicle, pension, Laptop, Phone, 20 days holiday increase 1 day per year.
JOB DESCRIPTION: As an Area Install and Service Engineer it will be your responsibility to undertake service and maintenance calls as scheduled by my clients Service Desk team, and Small works as requested. You will also be a member of the out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure full coverage to our customers 24/7/365. This rota is liable to modification in its frequency.
You will be responsible for the customer base which lies within your own service area. My client will endeavour to keep you within a set Service area, but there will be occurrences where you will be required to work outside your normal Service area. You will maintain levels of professionalism at all times whilst representing the company in an approachable friendly manner, building working relationships with customer representatives at the sites where you regularly attend.
You will be required to assist in maintaining all SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) that my client has agreed with customers and do your upmost to work as efficiently and professionally as possible to ensure we meet these demands.
To consistently promote my client standard codes of practice in terms of levels of professionalism and customer care by presenting a positive image. Actively offer the highest standards of customer service and best practice at all times whilst keeping in mind the best interests of the company.
Knowledge and skills requirement
You will possess a sound understanding of CCTV / Intruder / Access Control /Fire systems, My client will ensure that you are fully trained in the latest relevant working safely procedures, and that you obtain all necessary qualifications to work for Clients
you will be train in any areas that are either Company Specific, or that you express a deficiency in (work related), in accordance with our Training Bond policy.
Key Responsibilities
1) To ensure the smooth running of your designated service area.
2) To actively communicate any outstanding issues within your area to your Line Manager or Supervisor.
3) To actively seek to manage your area revisits (keeping them to a minimum)
4) To be an ambassador for the company
5) To undertake any reasonable duties passed to you by the Service Team in a timely manner.
